Zuckerman writes a fascinating book with a great deal of startling information in it, and I greatly enjoyed reading it. However, after pondering the book for some time, I believe the author has missed the true revelation which his data offers. He considers himself a nonbeliever/agnostic (7-8), and so this Scandinavian lack of religiosity appears…
I should note clearly here I’m not trying to show how Harry is “bad” and everyone else is “good” — because I think all four of the heroines I’m discussing extensively are good reads. What I’m trying to do with them, however, is clearly demonstrate, through comparison and contrast, what is to me a new…

I can’t speak for all women, but I can speculate based on discussions I’ve had, and on my thoughts in similar situations: To politely create or keep distance To defuse situations where the person feels pressured or scared Because that’s what they’ve…
LOL! and they were both great fun, Lou! :)
She did it, too! (Both the 50 new things *and* the happyColliedance!)
Thank you so much, Bob & Rick! Why save any for next year, though, when they’re such a delightful renewable resource? Also: thank goodness we didn’t have to eat the minstrels! :)
And there was much rejoicing!!!!
Congrats!
Hm. Maybe you should save some for next year? Nyahhhh…
