It. Is. DONNNNE!!

WOOHOOOOO! Dissertation is COMPLETELY written, yeah! :-D

I’m going to take a couple of days to just relax, run around like a mad thing, play with Goldie, and do the laundry… and then I’ll settle down and start working on the NEXT batch of things which need doing! Stuff like, ohhh…

Get the last two chapters to my Chair for review, add in the requested revisions, make sure all the footnotes are correctly formatted, set the diss defense appointment, floss the cat…

Get the diss to the rest of the diss Committee, add in the flood of requested revisions, make sure all the referenced literature is in my Bibliography, get the diss to the Technical Review Editing board, gleefully dance till my feet hurt…

Read and possibly integrate the four really interesting books on similar subjects that’ve come out since I started the diss, add in the next flood of requested revisions, figure out who I was referencing in the footnotes where I forgot to put titles, apply to graduate, teach myself Swahili…

Get a photo-ready copy of the diss to the official folks, rent the graduation gown, enjoy time with family while they’re here for my graduation, get the diss printed, have a nervous breakdown, send out the printed copies to those who requested them…

-and then: GRADUAAAATE!!
…and then fall down.
